With almost thirty years experience, I offer a distinctive blend of knowledge, expertise and skills, with which to help people overcome difficulties and so find improved happiness and fulfillment. I believe counselling is a process which engages the whole person and clients are warmly welcomed into a setting which reflects excellence without ostentation.
My listening and communication skills are of the highest quality and I pay sensitive attention to clients and their issues. I am a founder director of The Road Centre for Counselling, Training and Wellbeing and over the years have become skilled in several counselling approaches, working in an integrative manner, adapting my response according to clients’ needs.
I work with individuals, couples, families and groups, dealing with whatever issues are presented. I also provide therapy for those involved in traumatic incidents, including road traffic and industrial accidents.
Some of my clients acknowledge a spiritual dimension in their lives and I am happy to engage with this and help them explore and develop this important part of their make-up.
In addition to face-to-face work, I provide telephone and on-line counselling, including the use of Skype and FaceTime.
As well as being a counsellor, I am also a supervisor, overseeing the practice of several practitioners, working in a variety of settings.
