Emily Cooke

I have worked at The Road Centre since June 2016 after finishing my BA in Counselling. I have completed a number of various voluntary placements and I have experience of working with adults, young people and children. My approach is person centred; providing a non-judgemental, empathetic and honest environment in which the therapeutic relationship can grow. I find it beneficial to use a range of different approaches, ensuring I only use what I feel is appropriate for the individual. I particularly enjoy working creatively with my clients and have a personal interest in sand tray therapy.

I am a member of the BACP and am currently working towards my accreditation. I am committed to ongoing personal and professional development and I have regular supervision.
